As Sarah Ferguson celebrated turning 60, she took the occasion to shine a light on her volunteering work with two never-before-seen snaps.
The ex-wife of the Duke of York took to Instagram to share two photos of herself meeting young people during an overseas trip, and although she did not give a location, it’s believed the images were taken in South Asia.
In the snaps, which she captioned ‘colorful moments’, the Duchess can be seen wearing a purple sari with a garland of flowers around her neck and a traditional bindi on her forehead, while posing next to a smiling girl.
In a second image, she’s wearing the same outfit with the fabric draped over her head as she shakes hands with a young boy.

Earlier today, Sarah’s ex-husband, Prince Andrew shared a never-before-seen family portrait to lead the birthday wishes.

Two weeks ago, it was announced that Princess Beatrice would tie the knot with her beau, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The royal is expected to marry in a low-key ceremony in 2020.
Prince Andrew and Fergie have kept a close relationship since their divorce over two decades ago in 1992.
He stayed by her side and helped co-parents their daughter Eugenie and Beatrice after their split whilst the rest of the royal family shunned her following the infamous ‘Toe sucking scandal.’
Five moths after her divorce from Andrew was finalised, Fergie was photographed by paparazzi on holiday with then lover John Bryan.
The Texan financier was caught kissing and sucking the Duchess’ toes and the arch of her foot in the snaps, which were published by thew Daily Mirror.
In spite of various scandals that have hit both of them throughout the years, they remained ‘bestest’ friends, with the Duchess describing herself as being part of ‘the happiest divorced couple in the world’.
The Duchess was born Sarah Ferguson on October 15 1959; her father Major Ronald Ferguson was the Prince of Wales’s polo manager.
She married Andrew on July 23 1986 at Westminster Abbey, with millions tuning in to watch the televised ceremony.

The duchess brought renewed vigour to the monarchy in the 1980s alongside the Princess of Wales, but struggled to come to terms with the rigorous disciplines of royal life.
She once confessed: ‘I was hopeless from the start… They could never make me the perfect princess.’

In a recent interview with Hello Magazine, Fergie defended her ex-husband ans said he and herself strongly believed in ‘the integrity of goodness.’
‘Both the Duke and I stand very firmly on familyhood and we really believe in the integrity of goodness, and they are the best examples of that,’ she said.
